What was your inspiration?

I just wanted to try another quilting project from this book.

What are you most proud of?

That I persevered and ripped out some things a few times! This was not as easy as it looked, but I did finish it!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Make sure you review how to do things even if you've done them before. I had to work hard to figure out how to do the mitered corners again, and found more help online.

After making one I decided to try another and added it to this post - much easier the second time. Pays to cut out everything before starting assembly, and I made the binding wider which made those mitered corners so much easier to do!!!

For this one I used a cotton batting and also a layer of Insul-Bright which is supposed to add some heat protection. I made another one today which I'll add to this posting and used a non-cotton batting, assume it is polyester. Hope that works!

I'd just like to point out that somehow the colors have not translated well when uploaded. The color surrounding the log cabin square is a beautiful hot pink, not red, and the back polka dots are a soft pink, not rasberry! The colors overall are softer and prettier!
