What was your inspiration?
My children. I wanted to make them each a unique pillow and figured it would be quite practical to add a pocket so that they can keep their favorite toy, book, or whatever they are into at the moment handy and in a safe place.
What are you most proud of?
Taking a simple pattern (quilted pillow) and changing it up to fit my needs. This is why I love sewing and making things because you can make something uniquely for you!
The are two versions, one with a shirt pocket and one with a rounded pocket that is lined.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
The pocket is the focal point of this pillow so choose a fabric you love and showcase it!
