What was your inspiration?
I simply needed a needlecase:-) Well I also wanted to try to make this very difficult-looking patchwork block. Never go for simple:-)
What are you most proud of?
I turned out great, exactly the right size. was worried that because of all the layers of fabric and wadding it is going to be too bulky when rolled up but it isn't at all.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
If you want to try something in quilting try it on a small project. This was the first time I did free-hand quilting and it wasn't easy and was frustrated at times but in the end am very pleased:-)
