What materials did you use? Fabric panel in two pieces, reclaimed woolen blanket (batting), thread, backing fabric, heavy fusible interfacing, and binding fabric.

What are you most proud of? If you stand back from the project (and please don't look at it too closely :P !) I love the way the stippling makes the shapes really pop out of the picture giving an almost trappunto effect. I was really relieved with how it turned out, and mum to be was happy with it. I will definitely be giving it another go.

I LOVE this project! I am working on a growth chart from a panel also, and understand very much about poorly printed panels! You did a great job! Your applique stitching and FMQ really accents it beautifully!

This is darling!! Do you have a pattern for it? Someone mentioned a panel. Was this a panel then you just did some fancy stitching to outline it or did you do applique? Thank you.

You are spot on. I had a matter of a couple of days to make a gift for a baby shower so I cheated, bought a panel and got busy trying to hide the fact with stitches outlining all the different 'fabrics' to make it look like applique!
