Materials
Cotton, batting, home made wooden toggle for the button - I always sew a little square patch for the back of the button for reinforcing.
What was your inspiration?
I wanted to make something for my sister. My mum loved her bag so much that she said make one for your sis.
I hope she likes it.
What are you most proud of?
It didn't turn out quite like I wanted. I cut the strips a bit too wide. I have been doing Missouri Quilt Co Tutorials on U-Tube. I have another lined up to do.
I think this will be nice and colourful for my sister who has had a bit of bad luck lately.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Have some fun. I tend to sit for hours until it is finished, usually over two nights after dinner.
