Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Free Motion Quilting a Sampler »

Instructions

Practiing each quilting pattern before putting it on your quilt is key to a successful sampler. I used the Isacord thread that Leah suggested and was very pleased with the results!

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Girls

Style: Casual

Materials

100% cotton batiks and white background

What was your inspiration?

Our teacher, Leah Day, is very talented. I learned so much from taking her class.

What are you most proud of?

Completing the project and being pleased with the results. I really stepped out of my comfort zone in some of these quilting patterns.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Don't let fear intimidate you. Go for it. It is so much fun and very relaxing!
