What was your inspiration?

My reason for making this quilt was to participate in a challenge by Desi Quilters ( http://desi-quilters.blogspot.com/2013/01/jan-2013-challenge.html ) in January. The quilt is meant to be something for my sewing room and had to have text (not embroidered) on it.

What are you most proud of?

I'm most proud that it was very late in the month when I got started and was able to finish it although some of it was hand quilted.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

If you are reverse appliqueing anything, back the top fabric with lightweight fusible to keep the pieces from shifting around while attaching by machine.
