What materials did you use? Supplies listed as needed in Craftsy BOM 2012 course for January and July blocks.

What are you most proud of? I spent most of one day making these two blocks and have a new appreciation for those who quilt. This is only the first step and it is not easy!! But the course instructor is good and if you take your time it can work. I made some mistakes and will try to cover them up with my quilting!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I had trouble with the Dresden template because it did not print to the correct size. So I had to make my own template by figuring out how to increase the size and keep the correct proportions. I also had trouble with the middle circle not being big enough and had to make two.... it's still not perfect, but will have to do. I guess my advice is... check the template pint-out to make sure it is the right size before you start cutting.
