These are my favorite colors. I was just about to start my first quilt and have picked similar colors but not all of them yet. Now that I see how yours came together, I'm excited to get going! Thanks for the inspiration and I agree these are some cool & fresh summer colors. I'd like to find an outdoor plastic tablecloth is these colors. How pretty:)

Perfect colors for my quilting sisters bedroom. She will be astonished that her little {beginning quilting} sister made it just for her.

So cool & refreshing a quilt to relax into. Just love the "measurement" guide given must try that method - I get caught in detail not the process - just do it.

This is not done from a pattern, I just started with 8" square and kept adding 2 1/2" sashing.

I love this. Did you work with fat quarters or yardage. If FQ, how many? If yardage, how much? I see your fabric was bought last year but I'd like to do something similar. Thanks so much!

Sorry I'm not to good tipping there were 3 paqs of five fq that came with each collection, but I felt that because there were only five different colors I needed more variety of colous, so I bought 3 more colors like 1 yard of each in the fabric store. 2 yards for satching and 2 for boarders , yes it sounds like a lot of fabric but this was. My first big quilt and because I know that my mom likes were quilts overlapping the bed this is a king size quilt in a full size bed. I had a lot of leftover fabric so I used it for the pillows and the small pillows and the binding are from one jelly row from the same collection that was in sale too. 2. The center block is 8" and then the white sashing is. 2 1/2"the turquoise satching is 2 1/2 " and the yellow border is 4 or 6" don't remember.well. I hope this has help you. Sorry for not having espesifics.

Love your choice of fabric. What is the name of the collection? Do you think it might still be available? Beautiful quilt!

I especially like the pillows! I also like how cheery the colors are while still looking "adult".
