What was your inspiration?

BOM free class was a good motivation, I have always wanted to make a quilt, but appears to be such a big project.

What are you most proud of?

I completed the sashing and connected all my blocks, I also came across a few blocks that were not quite 12.5 inches and I added the extra border, and they look great.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Enjoy the process there were so many different blocks taught in this class. When I look at quilts online now I can recognize different types of blocks. I also choose to use thread to base the panels together instead of pins, to makes sure my panels do not shift when I sew, and my blocks would match up as close as possible.

Pretty quilt. Have you ever used the vanishing thread to thread baste? It disappears when you spray it with a little water.

No I have never used the invisible thread but I am thinking of using the water soluble marker to mark my quilt design on each block
