What was your inspiration?

This is my first quilt project after watching Quilting Quickly II. I made it for my mother as a Christmas gift.

What are you most proud of?

My first attempt at free motion quilting. It was easier than I thought but only because it is a forgiving pattern.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Make sure you buy all your material at the same time. The front was material I had purchased quite a while ago and I barely had enough. I did not plan for the backing at the time, so when I went to the store to get the backing, the ONLY solid color I could find was the dark purple. It turned out pretty good, but not really what I had wanted. The color schemes change over time and that was my mistake.
