What are you most proud of? This was my first attempt at hand quilting (I couldn't get the quilting right in my sewing machine). I love the leaf design around the border!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? My hand quilting was far from perfect so I used a "busy" print for the backing. I also tried various options for holding my quilt when quilting it and found I was most comfortable just holding it in my lap with no hoops.

Thats a very nice one! Congratulation.

I love the teal greens with the bittersweet colored fabrics, and the maize colors work in nicely, too. I noticed you used a scalloped border--good for you! I have yet to do one. The border ads charm to the curved piecing.
