Is this your project? Can you share instructions or a pattern with the Craftsy community?

Difficulty:

Category: Paper Crafts

Type of item: Functional

For: Unisex

Style: Eco-Friendly, Whimsical

Materials

Pre-printed cards, quilling paper, sequins, beads, envelopes.

What was your inspiration?

When I did this card I had recently taken a quilling course and saw these pre-printed thank you cards in a second hand store! Immediately I envisioned accenting the picture with hand quilled pieces and sequins! I did several versions of the same card and I loved the end result in each one.

What are you most proud of?

That the end result met the image I had in my head when I started the project.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Take a basic quilling course -- I tried doing it on my own, but having someone instruct you makes the craft so much easier!

I hadn't thought of incorporating quilling with pictures. You could do the same thing using quilling and stamps. Lovely idea. Thanks

in fact the lady whom I took my course from had us add a quilled balloon to a stamped cat!

Beautiful. I used to do some quilling years ago. Had almost forgot about the craft. Your cards are lovely!!! What a beautiful application.
