Thanks bvonparri, I do hope you'll give it a try. No, it's just paper so don't worry! It's not like it costs a lot to try, right? You will get better every time you make a flower.

I wish there were Craftsy classes on Quilling. I took a short class on a Princess cruise last year, and would love for my grandkids to get involved with this old time paper craft. It's very doable for even young school age children.

Hi Nana2Five, I completely agree! I think kids adapt to quilling much more easily than adults. Here is an example with my brother-in-law showed his grade 7 class: http://paperzen.blogspot.ca/2014/07/quilling-by-7th-graders.html

Hi BarbGhig, thanks so much for your kind words! I do hope you give it a try. It doesn't have to be a big investment of time or supplies to simply play. I showed kids using a round toothpick, hand cut strips, and glue.
