What was your inspiration?
This was my first attempt at quilling a mandala, and I had this wooden box that I had painted in this beautiful blue, and then lined the inside with bright yellow felt, so when I started the mandala on top, I decided to use equally bright colors, and I think it came out perfect.
What are you most proud of?
The color combinations, and the shape/design of the mandala itself
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Take your time and make sure your quilled shapes are all equal in size, otherwise your mandala will come out looking lopsided or uneven
