Instructions
This is a basic log cabin quilt. Log cabin blocks are simple and quick to construct. I like them because there are many design options for lay out. Not sure what this layout is called. I quilted it using a short arm on a frame, free motion.Difficulty:

What was your inspiration?
A suggestion from a niece and my stash. I did have to buy the backing fabric and one of the reds.
What are you most proud of?
I like the colors.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Determine how many blocks you need to make for the size quilt you want, Make all the blocks before committing to one design for lay out. Lay out blocks in a variety of different designs. Take a picture of each before you lay out the next one. You can make your choice by looking back though the pictures.
