What are you most proud of? The steps I am taking to finish this project. I have come to realize that i like to work "fast and furious" and this is a project that I need to take the time and plan out...I did layd the squares out almost as if I were playing tic tac toe...and then it wil have a sashing that matches the back of the quilt. I probably will do a very simple grid pattern for the quilting on the machine as this is new for me...but craftsy classes have really helped me.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Breath a lot! And step back and if need be, take a little bit longer than you thought it would be..and trust your intuition! And have fun! Pick fabric that speaks to you and enjoy the whole process..

Stunning! I absolutely love it and your choice of fabric colors are awesome. I agree with you about taking your time. Quilting materials can be so expensive, so another good reason I have found to slow down and enjoy the process! Great job, can't wait to see it when you are totally finished!

Hi Rosalyn, This is awesome and you mixed the print and sashing very well together. I agree, craft shouldnt be hurried..i took up quilting since i realised (and my family and friends told me too) i need to slow down sometimes....I just take the process one step at a time..and once its completed..its a bonus :)...Congrats again - I really love this piece :)

You really have an artist's eye. I saw your jewelry too. This is so pretty. I love that all the frames are not the same. You really showed your creativity in this. Creativity is one of your very strong points. I saw that in your necklace.
