What are you most proud of? I love how the icing turned out on the top! And it tasted absolutely wonderful :) The guests were very impressed!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't be afraid to try the open water bath to melt the chocolate! It took all of the stress out of it, and I will certainly melt my chocolate this way in the future. I decided not to do the almonds since I was too nervous that I would end up ruining it after all that hard work, but I will try next time. I will also do a better job on my crumb coat since you can definitely see every lump and bump that was left.

Beautiful. I am going to make my first one tomorrow after a visit to Trader Joes. I am so glad it tasted as good as it looks.
