What was your inspiration?
I made this birthday cake for a teaching colleague whos class is called the Bumblebees. I jokingly refer to her as the queen bee.
What are you most proud of?
The bees and flowers and the tassles . The pillow cake wasnt easy to carve too!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Lots of patience. Do figures and flowers ahead of time and cake is best carved after chilling overnight in the fridge.
