Do you sell this cake? No, just for fun

Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: I made this cake for my mum for Mothers Day. It's a 6 inch diameter vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream between the three layers of cake. I covered the cake in ganache and made the MMF. The pattern on the cake was made from modelling chocolate and applied using Jessica Harris's waxed paper transfer method. The flower was made from fondant and based on the pink ruffle flower in Simply Modern Cake Design. I cut the petals with a circle cutter and frilled the edges in these palm of my hand with a ball tool. I then covered a cupcake tin with plastic and let the petals shape and dry on there.

Where did you get the pattern? I was looking for an arabesque stencil but the local store didn't have it. Didn't have time to shop around at the time but would love to make it on another event.

Sorry sairasac - I've only just seen your comments. The pattern is not a stencil, but was cut from modelling chocolate. I got the quatrefoil cutters from Not Just Cakes By Annie - she has a Facebook page and website. Most the time everything is out of stock, but she has sales that are announced on her Facebook page fairly frequently. The cutters cut beautifully and worked really well with the modelling chocolate. Hope that helps! :-)
