You exhaust me! How on earth do you produce so many quilts?

LOL! I'm new to adding photos on Craftsy, so I'm putting up photos of things I've made in recent years. It is not as though I'm posting things just newly produced. And it helps that so many of my charity quilts I just make the top and other committee members do the rest of the work. There was one year I donated 52 quilt tops, for example. I think it was only 12 last year, though. My goal is 25 for this year. It is great to be retired and have a BF who does half the work around the house and half the cooking and who likes to be a homebody. Lots of time for sewing that way.

You actually made 52 quilt tops in one year? My word! It takes me at least a full week just to choose an fabrics and create a design. Like you, I'm fortunate in being retired with a supportive hubby, but my production is just a fraction of yours.

Well, I can't really say that I "made" 52 quilts in one year. I may have finished that many and turned them in to the committee, but I'm sure a lot of the work on some of them had actually been accomplished in previous years when my apparent "production" had been far less. For example, I've almost finished the third charity quilt top this month - but two of those had been sitting in my UFO drawer for ten or fifteen years with just the borders left to do. If I don't happen to have on hand the right colors of cheap fabrics to finish a charity quilt, I set it aside until I do - or until the spirit moves me. I now live 75 miles from a fabric shop that sells anything other than "quilt shop" fabrics, so getting inexpensive fabrics isn't as easy as it was. You use a lot more complex designs than I usually do, so I'd expect you to produce less.

Your quilt is very colorful, I really like the pattern.
