What materials did you use? Cotton scraps, Soft and Stable, Arabesque bag pattern (slightly modified) available at Sewsweetness.com

What are you most proud of? The colors came together well and everything is nice and straight. This bag was my trial run before I tackle the TInker tote and all its binding. Bias binding and I have never been friends, but we are going to try and reconcile our differences.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Once you learn the QAYG technique, your project list will be endless. It's a great scrap buster and fun! I'm officially addicted!

Love it!

This is fantastic! I know what you mean about bias binding! I only use it when I have to!!

Does this include what I think is QYAG bag- an upright tote? If yes, I'm interested in doing this. For my purposes, I don't want the one that is cutdown in middle with flap closing. Maybe later for that. It would be my first option like this- must I achieve a certain amount in each segment of time with all ending in one class? They look very appealing- I just don't think I can meet a schedule. Thanks!

So cute! Love your colors!! p.s. I was concerned about the binding & the zipper but they were so easy! Tara is so great at explaining & if you take it slow & watch the lesson as you go it's a breeze, so much easier than expected! Go for it, you already did such a fantastic job, it'll be a piece of cake for you! :)
