What was your inspiration?
The recipient likes to shop, and loves shoes and purses, so I used that for my idea. Purse, shoes, jewelry and roses. What more could a woman want? :)
What are you most proud of?
The roses. They turned out really well this time.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't use Duff's fondant for projects you want to harden. Even mixed with gumpaste, it never gets all the way solid, still has some softness and doesn't necessarily hold up well. It's great for covering cakes, though!
