Instructions

Try tie-dying Purrrsilla's fabric for a cute tabby cat. Put elastic bands around the fabric about an inch apart and follow the instructions on your fabric dye packet. I like to dye the fabric outside in and empty ice-cream bucket on a sunny day.

What was your inspiration?

Purrrsilla was inspired by my younger stitchers class who wanted to stitch up a fun kitty. She is thread jointed and easy to put together.
The instructions are illustrated step by step, perfect if you don't want to stop and read while you are working on your project.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Purrrsilla can be stitched up out of felt, mohair or upholstery velvet. Go through your leftover fabrics for inspiration.
