What was your inspiration?
All the small yards of different printed fabric with lots of color. I wanted a fun summer dress that girls would enjoy wearing.
What are you most proud of?
This was the first one I made of this pattern and I think it is pretty busy!!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I wanted to do a mixed up dress pattern for a while and since this was the first one, I think I didn't take enough time to find a fabric that wasn't as busy as the two I picked. I may do another and see if I can break up this apron and dress...who knows, know that I have made two, I have a better idea on what fabrics will compliment each other.
