Instructions

I held a circle cookie cutter to the side of my chicken and did a running stitch around the cookie cutter to make my circles uniform. Also, if you can't crochet, you can braid yarn for the legs, comb and tail of the chicken.

What was your inspiration?

The Purple Stitch Project touches close to my heart, because our son, Cole, suffered from epilepsy, and I learned to knit as a grieving technique when we lost him 4 years ago to SUDEP. This Jamie Chicken is a Cole Chicken at my heart, and I hope it brings a child with seizure disorder joy in memory of Cole.
