This is so beautiful and intricate! I inherited my grandmother's craft stuff and there were several tatting shuttles but I haven't had the courage to attempt it. thanks for the inspiration

Thank you!! I would encourage you to give it a try. There are several tutorials on YouTube that are very good for a beginner.
