Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: Since I did not have the silicone forms to make the flowers, I had to improvise. After coloring the gum past, I used my a few different circle cutters and shaped some of the petals. The cake during this class I thought was stunning, so I went for a similar look and everyone loved it.
What are you most proud of? This was my first time making any kind of flowers with gum paste and it was actually quite enjoyable. I can only imaging how more elegant they'll become when I add the silicone molds to my collection.
