Thanks! The flower is made up of gumpaste circle in 3 sizes layered. I used a ball tool to ruffle the edges of each circle and then layed them one on top of the other using gumpaste glue to attach them. I placed pieces of papertowel between the layers to create the separation. The jewel in the center was made using a ball of gumpaste covered in piping gel and then dipped into Disco Dust. As a final touch I attached the pearls around the ball with a little piping gel. Hope this Helps!

I used 6 circles for the flower above 2 in each size 4inches, 3 inches and 2 inches.

I used a large rose tip piping an up and down motion to create the ruffles. I darkened the buttercream every third ruffle layer

The ruffles around the cake are buttercream. I piped them using a large rose petal tip. The ruffle flower on top was made using fondant.
