What was your inspiration?

A customer wanted a purple newsboy hat to wear after chemo treatments took her hair!

What are you most proud of?

That I finished it the same week of her last treatment! So she gets to wear it as her hair grows back!!!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

As with anything!!! Have fun...don't follow the rules..it's what makes you creative!

I did this in a childs size...just use a smaller hook and not as many stitches per row...

I would like to know how the braid was made as well. and also what yarn you used. I think wool would be awfully itchy.
