What was your inspiration?
Lekala Patterns - I heard of them through Craftsy - this pattern company - you select your pattern, add your measurements, and they email you a PDF in your size, all for $2!! I had to try it out, the service is quick and straight forward, - and it fits perfectly. I did add seam insurance on the side seams, but had to cut it off as it fits oerfectly. No more altering patterns anymore, I will purchase Lekala and have a pattern to my measurements - heaven.
What are you most proud of?
The fit, the colour, the collar and welts, lapels. All the pattern pieces fitted together perfectly. It just needs to go to the dry cleaners now for a press.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
A pattern to your measurements - isn't half the drama fit - this you cut and sew and it fits!! Great
