What was your inspiration?
I hadn't made a lariat in a while, and since I'm seeing feathers everywhere these days, I decided it was time to make my own streamlined design.
What are you most proud of?
The tassels at the bottom, comprised of feathers and beaded dangles on fine chain, were once 2 different pairs of earrings. :D
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
You'll want to buy a little bag of good, firm feathers at your local craft store (goose feathers are nice and sturdy) and some very small cord-end crimps so that you can practice trimming and assembling the feather dangles.
The first few feathers you make might look rough, but eventually you'll get the hang of it!
