What are you most proud of? I love how the color split with the beautiful shades of pale blue in between the purple.

sooo pretty great separation of colour, Is this a stand alone piece or will you use it with other fabrics in a larger project?

Thanks! I'm enjoying just looking at it at the moment, not sure about it's future use. I'm sure at one point it will be the ideal piece for a project :-)

Love the effect you achieved. I was wondering about the kind of bottle you used - glass? plastic? How did you keep it from floating? (I see this as a potential problem with plastic.)

Thanks! I used a plastic bottle and placed it inside a larger heavier tall platsic container that had the dye in it. I secured it by criss-crossing rubber bands - they went across the top of the bottle and around the outside of the larger container. I had to be careful when I did this so I didn't tilt the container/spill dye. Hope that makes sense :)
