Sorry it took so long to get back to you. You can use most any pattern for the bag. I designed the fabric first with the stuprndous method. I do have a pattern for the bag that I designed if you are still interested.

Beautiful. You must have laid out your pieces ahead of the stitching or had a perfect area that proved to be the perfect flap. Clearly a designer project.

All I can say is Stupendous! I just judged the quilts and fiber arts entries for the Denver County Fair this weekend and if you had entered this, I definately would have given you ribbon. Beautiful!
