What are you most proud of? I was so proud to be asked to make a cake for cake central for a start but when i decided to make sugar flowers for the top i thought id bitten off more than i can chew. I had no idea to arrange them so to have the arrangement come out the way it did i was soooo happy and to get the cake published was just an unbelievable proud moment for me.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Dont be scared to try something out of your comfort zone. This was only the second time id made hydrangeas, buds, leaves and roses and i felt like i had no idea what i was doing but have confidence in your abilties and ideas and remember that if you have to change your design just go with it. The only person that knew the initial design was you, so dont beat yourself up about it. Also go back and watch your craftsy tutorial again and again. I cant even tell you how many times ive watched Jacqueline Butlers handcrafted sugar flower's. It might be embarrasing to admit how many times actually but the craftsy course's have given me so much more confidence because if i noticed anything about all the teachers on craftsy is they are all not scared to try something new because failiure is the next step to sucess so never be scared to fail because if at first we dont suceed we try again and again and agian if we need to :-)

may i ask what cutters did u use?

hi Lora82. I used hydrangea cutters and rose petal cutters and the lilacs are made similar to Jacquline Butlers filler flowers with no cutter. I hope that helps :-)
