Fantastic quilt! Fabrics used work great together. I really like the quilt pattern!

Thanks snappcindy! It was my very first attempt and I did it without an actual pattern. I just cut out a template of the 3 main shapes on the back of a cereal box and went from there!

Your baby quilt is beautiful! I am working on a baby quilt also and will make my first attempt at free motion quilting on it. Thanks for sharing your quilt.

I was very surprised at how much easier FMQing got as I continued with this quilt. In fact, I like the blocks/areas that I did free motion MUCH more than those that I quilted with the straight walking foot. Can't wait to see your finished project!

oh what fun.... great fabrics.... thanks for showing some of the details... something to try next time is to stipple between the printed design... (between the dogs ) with a thread similar to the background... that way you will get your quilt texture... and still see the print.... Bravo!!!!

I love the stippling and swirls. You did a good job! There is so many classes I want to take. I'll have to add them to my wish list.
