Pre loved wooden jewellery box which I painted with metallic paint by Resene and trimmed with Paua shell (Abalone) laminate. Stitched on Belfast 32 count linen using DMC Pearl # 8 & 12 along with variegated pearl, Kreinik braid and Mill Hill petite beads
What was your inspiration?
This was designed for my niece's 30th birthday. I had stitched one for her 21st but unfortunately it was lost when her family home was destroyed by fire. Must admit this one is so much nicer lol.
What are you most proud of?
How you start with a bit of an idea and it just evolves!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Have fun, love what you're stitching and go with the flow!
