What was your inspiration?
My Clothes. I wanted to do a fashion project and get out of the box. I made a mold of an old belt in silicone for the second tier. I also made a black chrysanthemum that would have the look of a spider from far away. Really loved that cake!
What are you most proud of?
The black chrysanthemum. I used 50/50 paste and the paste was too thin for the mix, the petal kept breaking. I separated each of them and put them on a gumpaste base... the result is stunning it looks alive!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
