What was your inspiration?
Flying Geese Book by Gail Garber. Gail's book is full of detailed instructions. Her quilts are amazing.
What are you most proud of?
I just wanted to play with something small and quick. So downsized Gail's idea to a tiny insert compared to her sweeping curved geese. I like the results and fun to make too! And Gail left a comment on my blog post! How fun is that!?
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Take a look at my website for a few more little insert projects. http://schutt.net/sharon/2012/09/pumpkins-flying-geese-fall/
