What was your inspiration?
I was inspired by the puffer jackets that were all over the stores last winter. I wanted to make something warm and puffy for my dog, using this beautiful new superwash yarn Malabrigo had just come out with.
What are you most proud of?
I love the basket stitch and how it shows off the pretty variegated yarn, and the ribbed sides make the sweater nice and stretchy. The way it's put together as you go keeps it an interesting knit. And it looks so pretty on!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't be afraid of the basket stitch -- it's easier than it looks.
