What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I used a sheet to pin the puffs in place to help with the piecing. This is obviously not finished yet, but I think it looks pretty good so far.

Thank you for sharing this project. I was just wondering how in the world you made this. I have seen this before and think it it the coolest quilt I ever saw.
