Instructions

You cut squares in the size you want, then cut the back 1/2 inch smaler. Sew them putting a pleat on the sides of the top squares. Then turn them and stuff them. I used polyester fill. After stuffing them, I used a heirloom stitch on my embroidery machine and butted the squares together and stitched them. I did this because I made mine reversabile. What advice would you give someone starting this project?

It takes a long time. I have a king size bed and this took 300+ squares.

Made to give as a gift it would show true feelings of respect as it would take many long hours not all pleasurable but each peice sewn with love last year i made a small one for my grandaughters dolls pram at christmas it looked just right

If you are talking about the corner of the squares, you just sew the square to the square from one corner to the other with right sides together puting a pleat in the larger square in the middle between the four corners. When you get them together you turn them and punch out the corners and stuff them. Once stuffed it is a complete square puffed up. Like a tiny pillow.

This is so awesome! I just want to take a flying leap on to the bed. It's probably all soft and poofy, but also reminds me of bubble-wrap, hehe. Great job!
