What advice would you give someone starting this project?
It takes a long time. I have a king size bed and this took 300+ squares.
I like this but do not know how to do this in the corner
If you are talking about the corner of the squares, you just sew the square to the square from one corner to the other with right sides together puting a pleat in the larger square in the middle between the four corners. When you get them together you turn them and punch out the corners and stuff them. Once stuffed it is a complete square puffed up. Like a tiny pillow.
Made to give as a gift it would show true feelings of respect as it would take many long hours not all pleasurable but each peice sewn with love last year i made a small one for my grandaughters dolls pram at christmas it looked just right
I in the process of making a puff quilt - with two different sized squares. I love the skirt.
Gorgeous 50s glam look, inlcuding the colours. WAY TO GO!!! These really are lovely aren`t they?
