What materials did you use? This is a wonderful cotton fabric, very soft and flowing. I got it from Waechter's fine fabrics. I love that they include a gift of buttons in each order.

What are you most proud of? I love how everything went together so well. Using Pam's advice on doing the flat-felled seam on the sleeves, worked great - this is the first one that I did not have any problems with it. I still have button-hole phobia, but at least I'm not afraid to rip them out if they aren't just right. ps the blouse is on a smaller dressform. I use to be that size, so I call her my 'mini-me'.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I wanted to share a picture of the sleeve board that my husband made for me. It's made out of hardwood and is absolutely wonderful. I made the covers and added a padding of cotton batting.

Hello! This is wonderful! I am so happy that you have taken your shirtmaking skills to another level. Everthing is so well thought out. I really love your new sleeve board, your husband has done a great job with it...and the covers are sooo pretty! Thanks so much for inspiring us all :-)) Pam

Thank you so much Pam. I was in Heddi's fabric store today and met a man who is a tailor and he gives one on one tailoring classes. I'm giving it some serious thought into taking his classes.

Hi, if you've found a Tailor who is willing to teach you, then by all means do it! It sounds like a rare opportunity.
