What was your inspiration?

The fabric was the inspiration here for sure!

What are you most proud of?

Love the look!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

This quilt needs a design wall so that when you are sewing the rows you make sure you have the propellers.

WHAT A VARIETY of lovely floral fabrics combined in a geometric pattern repeated for "Propellers." I counted 6 propeller motifs for the length with 4 rows = 24 total. The inside narrow border of golden, rust and lavender small flowers on the rich black background adds contrast with the wider lovely paisley border and the edging -- repeated small flowers on black. INDEED your fabric colors are vivid and varied, creating harmony. You are a master of color as well as QUILTING! I hope this hangs on a wall to provide enrichment to a room. Do you count the hours you spend on each quilt? Sarah Helene in Minneapolis, MN
