What was your inspiration?
I inherited lots of holiday fabrics from my mom. There was one in particular that I knew I had to do some thing with. It's the white fabric in the middle of the red triangles. It has the words of the song, " You Are My Sunshine" printed on it.
When my grand daughter Katie was born, I sang this song to her often. This quilt is for her.
What are you most proud of?
My ability to take inspiration from life and re-create something wonderful.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Whenever you start any project, always begin with something you love.
