What was your inspiration?
I was inspired by love...
Tugging My Heart Strings started with an sketch of a heart. Now, why do I doodle hearts? Because Im in LOVE. Puppy love, that is! I found out that the uncle of my beloved Great Dane and inspiration behind my childrens series, Cheeky, had a litter of puppies and I am on the top of the potential adoptive parent list. Being as Ive been Dane-less and dog-less since her passing in 09, I was quickly moved to love and doodling hearts, as well as, spontaneous singing, dancing, smiling, glowing, and of course, designing knitting patterns!
What are you most proud of?
I'm most proud that I wasn't afraid to try a new technique.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Enjoy the process, life is much sweeter when the joy is found not only in the completed project, but in the making of it too.
