Materials

Red 4 Ply Worsted and an H-Hook. I also crocheted the little white rose in the center using some scraps that I had. The animal button was also something that I had in my stash from a long time ago.

What was your inspiration?

I have 6 granddaughters and I make their B-day cards every year and this year, I wanted to include something special in their cards for them. All six will receive a heart and a pretty pin to go with it for their birthday.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I always have so many ideas and so little time to accomplish them, so, if you are anything like me, don't let that stop you from beginning!
