Have fun! The coloring and color selection of floss is a personal thing I find. It doesn't have to look like the picture. I'm planning on making more of this purse/bag as gifts. Just darling! I belong to a group called "Crabbies"...so much fun. The company has lots of patterns.Difficulty:

100% Bali cotton, cotton batting, muslin, seed beads, embroidery floss, Crayola crayons, fine tip fabric marker, upcycled handles from a tradeshow canvas bag, Cotton thread, embroidery needle and sewing machine. Pattern from Crabapple Hill.
What was your inspiration?
I needed to choose a first project and this looked fairly simple. I haven't done any embroidery for years but am a quilter...This is a gift for my aunt turning 80! She is also a quilter! Going to have a hard time parting with it. Time to make another!!
What are you most proud of?
The coloring and embroidery. Since it had been years I was out of practice.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Read directions carefully but have fun too!
