Hobby Lobby's I Love This Yarn .... size g hook
What was your inspiration?
I began this afgan in 1989, right after my son was born. I had some time on my hands as a stay at home mom and thought it would provide me with that craving for crafting. I soon found that I wanted to change the color scheme but couldn't decide to what. I put the project down after completing just two of the panels and over the next 5 years I worked on it some. It went into a closet and survived a couple of relocations. After an injury to my leg I decided to get it back out and finish it once in for all. I had the time and I chose the colors. In 2010 I finished the project that would not let me give up on it. I am glad I did ! I think it turned out nicely :0) Oh and btw.....HL "I Love This Yarn" is awesomely soft.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Use and afgan needle not a regular crocheting needle. It will save your hands from cramping.
