I got the template from the August issue of Fons and Porter Love of Quilting Magazine. I reduced the pattern to 70% of it's original size since I was making it a newborn babies quilt and wanted more interest.Difficulty:

100% cotton fabrics, 80/20 batting and machine embroidery thread for quilting top and bottom.
What was your inspiration?
Having made a quilt using this apple core template before, I loved the unique shape and interest it creates inside the quilt as well as the edge.
What are you most proud of?
That it will be a gift!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
although it looks complicated, it's really quite simple and easy to stitch the pieces together.
